A long, dog day in May (5th)

Yesterday was may 5th and it was BEAUTIFULL outside!
Quite the time was had by all.
Here are some pictures of the days activities!

Sexton and Shaggy got bathed.
Sexton likes the water but acts like he hates it!
Isn't he cute?

A face that only parents could love!
Shaggyabout to get dunked!

After we got the pupps washed up we head to my brother Jeremy's house for my brother-in-laws graduation party.  Rob has been working a full time job as a police officer, raising a family and going to night school for 5 years to get to this graduation and we are stoked for him!
Here are some pics from my brothers house.

Some extra green apples!

Dinner for the night, ShishKaBobs, so good.

My niece Maddy helping with the meal.

Maddy also helped create the awesome cake for Rob.

The finished meal!  Thanks to Rob for graduating and giving our family a great excuse to get together and have Jeremy cook for us!

After leaving Jer's house we headed back to Petoskey.  The sun was setting over Lake Michigan while we were passing Bay Harbor, so we pulled in to East Park and got some great shots.

This is just one of the harbors located in the Bay Harbor Area.  The sun was just creeping behind the homes off to the Lake Michigan side so I cranked the shutter speed up to darken the frame and came away with this awesome shot.

While hanging out by the waters edge, this cute young puppy approached and just had to have her photo taken!

Meet Keelie.

 Keelie loves to run!

I found a small stream inletting to Lake Michigan.  I was trying to focus on the water in the forground and still keep the color in back.  It took me a minute to figure it out, but after playing with the settings for a while i nailed it.

It was an awesome day, one of the first of many more for this summer I'm sure!
