Vintage Car & Boat Show Part 2 - Bay Harbor
Well here it is,
long awaited and hopefully worth it!
We had a great time shooting the Vintage Car and Boat Show this year, and hope to have the same opportunity again in 2012.

on August 20th we had the pleasure of shooting the Cohen/Waldrup wedding at Bay Harbor. The weather was beautiful, the bride and groom were wonderful, and we stacked some amazing images.

Michigan Beach, Charlevoix Michigan - July 2011
Charlevoix is surrounded by water!
Beautiful beaches, miles and miles of beaches!
There is shallow warm waters, deep cold waters, sandy beaches, rocky beaches,
beaches where you can tie up your boat, beaches where you can take your kids to play
on swing sets, but Michigan beach is undoubtedly the shining gem of Charlevoix.
Every night the sun sets in the west and lights up skyline and illuminates the shores
of Charlevoix and its light house.
Some tourists set up shop in there beach chairs to watch the sunset on a beautiful Venetian night.
The Emerald Isle coming back from a trip to Beaver Island.
A couple enjoys an evening underneath the Charlevoix Light House.
Nothing but pure joy and lifetime memories for these three youngsters.
This is my favorite from the night.
I love how the water comes over the rocks in the foreground and how the
glow of the sunset hits the water.

Mega Sky Fish Music Video - Northern Michigan Band
Mega Sky Fish
is Randall Erno' brain child.
Originally a one man band/loop station act, Randy has added members for a few local shows, and hit me up about putting together a music video.
Edited completely on the new interface of Final Cut Pro X,which turned out to be quite the learning experience!

Charlevoix's Venetian Festival 2011 - part 1
I've lived in Charlevoix for 21 out of my 25 years of life.
Every year our quiet little town goes through two major mood swings;
1. in the winter when the streets seem empty
2. in the summer when our population sky rockets
The Annual Venetian Festival is much to thank for Charlevoix' influx in tourism,
good music and fun times.
Here are some of my favorite photo's from this years Venetian Festival.
David nail pulled in a full house during his performance at the 2011 Charlevoix Venetian Festival!
The sunset was one to remember thousands watch from their seats, apartments, boats or just while passing through town!
Think Floyd U.S.A was amazing!
This is just after Think Floyd got done with their set.
Everyone one was either rushing in there cars to try and miss traffic or taking their time lounging in the park watching fireworks. The Venetian Festival is world renown for its fireworks display, ironically the fireworks on the left hand side of this photo are from a citizens house, ahahaha.
Along with the Music, Food and Good Times comes the Carnival!
I thought the contrasts in light made for an awesome frame!

I"ve had the best experience working with the St.Mary's School in Charlevoix!
The one thing that has really shown through after looking over all the footage, is how
much the parents really believe in the school.
The original plan was to produce one promotional web video, but there was so much more
substance left in the interview footage, that we couldn't let it go unused.
